* ADANI PORTS AND SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE: Operations at Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International airport may be taken over by Adani Group in April, said Ahmedabad Customs Principal Commissioner Kumar Santosh.

* ADANI TRANSMISSION: Has raised $310 mln through private placement of debt in the US to refinance existing borrowings.

* BHARAT PETROLEUM CORP: Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions, which manufactures electric vehicles, and the company have signed an agreement for the launch of 'e-Drive', an electric vehicle mobility solution based on swappable battery technology.

* BRITANNIA INDUSTRIES: Has filed a trademark infringement case against FUTURE CONSUMER alleging that the Kishore Biyani-led company has copied the packaging of several of its biscuit brands.

* DR LAL PATHLABS: The board has approved the merger of the company's wholly-owned subsidiary APL Institute of Clinical Laboratory & Research with itself.
- Approved the acquisition of Shree Computerised Pathology Laboratory and Modern Diagnostics &
Modern Lab by the company's wholly-owned subsidiary PathLabs Unifiers for 41 mln rupees and 36 mln rupees, respectively.
- Board has approved re-designating Chairman and Managing Director Arvind Lal as executive
chairman and whole-time director for two years and re-designating Chief Executive Officer and Whole- Time Director Om Prakash Manchanda as managing director for five years, effective from Apr 1.

* EMAMI: Nirma Ltd is considering partnering with either Apollo Global Management Inc or Bain Capital to bid for the cement unit of Indian conglomerate Emami Group.

* HINDUJA GLOBAL SOLUTIONS: Wholly-owned subsidiary HGS International Mauritius has acquired the balance 4.8% stake in US-based HGS Colibrium Inc for $108,713.

* IDBI BANK: Has raised 7.45 bln rupees by issuing Basel III-compliant tier-II bonds maturing in 10 years at a coupon of 9.50%.

* JAYPEE INFRATECH: The Supreme Court has given a four-week extension to Anuj Jain, the insolvency and resolution professional, to complete the insolvency process of the company.

* JK CEMENT: Has successfully commissioned 1 mln tn per annum grey cement grinding capacity at it unit in Mangrol, Rajasthan, and 1.5 mln tn per annum grey cement grinding capacity at its unit in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.

* JSW STEEL: The company, the preferred bidder for Bhushan Power and Steel, in a reply affidavit to the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, has rejected the Enforcement Directorate's two major contentions--it cannot seek immunity from attachment of Bhushan Power and steel assets by the enforcement agency and that the company is related party.

* LAURUS LABS: Got tentative approval from the US Food and Drug Administration for generic of
Tivicay drug.

* NTPC: Has raised a syndicated Japanese yen loan worth $750 mln, the largest ever syndicated Japanese yen loan raised by any Asian company from offshore Samurai loan market, to fund its green push and acquisition of hydel units under the Centre's disinvestment plan.

* PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK: Board has approved raising funds aggregating up to 10 bln rupees through Basel-III compliant tier-II bonds in one or more tranches.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: The company and partner BP have formally shut down their D1 and D3 fields in the KG-D6 block after producing gas for more than a decade.

* SHREE CEMENT: Will be debuting in the west India market in the coming six months, with a 2.5 mtpa grinding unit near Pune.

* TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES: Has got a $1.5-bln order across a 10-year period from US pharma retailer Walgreens Boots Alliance to transform its technology operations.

* TATA MOTORS: The company opened bookings for its sport utility vehicle Harrier's Bharat Stage-VI norms-compliant model on Monday.

* THYROCARE TECHNOLOGIES: Two centres of the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Nueclear Healthcare in Surat and Vadodara have been closed due to unfair business practices by the franchisee.

* V-MART RETAIL: Has opened three new stores--one in Madhya Pradesh and two in Uttar Pradesh.
