USD/JPY. Pair after opening at 117.43 and made high of 117.81 and saw side wise action but after the negative data reported yesterday the pair reversed and trading below the 117 mark so the pair has started a correction in the ongoing trend likely to face resistance at higher levels for coming days.

Fundamental Overview

Yen is trading at 116.70 the pair took the resistance 117.80 and reversed after negative home sales data reported yesterday from US. it was trading in a narrow range for many days and yesterdays broke the range on down side expect some more correction in the pair for the near term.

GBP/USD. Pair after opening at 1.2271 made a high of 1.2291, and seen selling coming in near 1.23 mark after a long side wise trading days the levels of 1.2300has become a strong resistance unit ill the pair violated the said levels any rise is a shorting opportunity in the pair.

Fundamental Overview

Pound is trading at 1.2240, remaining largely unchanged after a steep fall from 1.2290 yesterday expects some range bound activity as the calendar remain light for the entire week. Data to watch Nation wide HPI but expect the pair to trade with minimal changes. Brexit remains the key focus and the negotiations between the EU and UK would be the driver for price of Pound next year.

EUR/USD. Pair after opening at 1.0458 Made a high of 1.0480 and struggled to get pass 1.0480 mark and saw the pair taking resistance and reversed and continued its lower top and bottom after trading with side wise near the 1.0450 mark for many days ,so sell at every rise in the pair until the pair closes above 1.05 levels.

Fundamental Overview

Euro is trading at 1.0435, remaining close to the 1.0450 after a fall from yesterday highs of 1.0480 handle for the last two sessions. There is no data from the EU and Germany for the entire week likely to consolidate but 1.05 is strong supply zone still the shared currency looks weak going ahead.

The Indian rupee opened flat at 68.24 per dollar on Thursday versus previous close 68.24. Kotak Mahindra Bank said, "Year-end holidays expected to keep volumes and activity in currency markets low and thin. USD-INR expected trading range for the day 68-68.30/dollar." The Japanese yen strengthened against the dollar, meanwhile the dollar index is firm above 103 mark, remember it has gained 4.7 percent this year. All those gains have come after the November 8 US election.
