* AARTI DRUGS: Promoters have acquired 340,192 shares or 1.46% stake in the company through open market on Friday.

* ALEMBIC PHARMACEUTICALS: Got US Food and Drug Administration's approval for generic of Exjade tablet.

* ALKEM LABORATORIES: Got US FDA's approval for generic of Exjade tablet.

* BAJAJ AUTO: The company and TVS MOTOR CO stopped offering discounts to customers in November and HERO MOTOCORP has reduced trade-in offers but is continuing with cash discounts in select parts of the country.

* BANK OF BARODA: Has responded to media reports about its South Africa operations and links to Gupta brothers, and said it "has not indulged in any activity violating regulatory guidelines knowingly".

* BHARAT HEAVY ELECTRICALS: CRISIL has downgraded its rating on the long-term bank facilities of the company to 'CRISIL AA/Stable' from 'CRISIL AA+/Negative'. The rating on the short-term bank facilities have been reaffirmed at 'CRISIL A1+'.

* BHARAT PETROLEUM CORP: The strategic sale of 53.29% in the company would be done without Numaligarh Refinery, said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. OIL INDIA or INDIAN OIL CORP could bag Numaligarh Refinery.

* DEWAN HOUSING FINANCE CORP: STATE BANK OF INDIA Chairman Rajnish Kumar on Thursday said he hoped the timeline for resolution under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code is adhered to in the case of the company.

* FORBES & CO: Global PE majors Blackstone, KKR, Apax and TPG Capital have joined Advent and Temasek-backed CROMPTON GREAVES CONSUMER in the race to acquire a controlling stake in subsidiary Eureka Forbes.

* HDFC BANK: Will acquire 1.82% stake in Lentra AI for 70 mln rupees on a fully diluted basis.

* IL&FS TRANSPORTATION NETWORKS: Has defaulted on payment of interest amounting to 72.07 mln rupees due from May 21 to Nov 19. Has defaulted on payment of principal aggregating to 1.25 bln rupees on non-convertible debentures.

* INFOSYS: EdgeVerve Systems, a wholly-owned arm of the company, has partnered with software services provider WM Promus to develop and deliver automation solutions.

* LAURUS LABS: The US Food and Drug Administration has issued a form 483 with three observations to the company's active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing units I and III in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

* MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA: Mahindra Susten, the renewable business arm of Mahindra group, has got binding offers from CLP India and Piramal Group for its 160 MW solar assets.

* MARUTI SUZUKI: Will introduce a Bharat Stage-VI petrol version of its two models, Brezza and S-Cross, before Apr 1.

* NATIONAL ALUMINIUM CO: Has cut the prices of aluminium ingots by over 2%, effective Wednesday, after hiking them three times in a row.

* NETWORK18 MEDIA & INVESTMENTS: Termed the report of Japan's Sony Corp being in talks to buy stake in the company as speculative, but added that it continues to evaluate various options on an ongoing basis.

* POWER FINANCE CORP: PFC Consulting, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, has incorporated Koppal-Narendra Transmission and Karur Transmission for executing transmission projects in Karnataka and Gujarat.

* RBL BANK: It continues to hold discussions with existing and potential investors, and that so far, there has been no development on raising funds.

* REC: Is planning to raise at least 5 bln rupees each by issuing two bonds, one maturing on Jun 30, 2022, and the other on Nov 26, 2024.

* RITES: The government will sell up to 10% stake or 25 mln shares in the company through an offer for sale.

* SANOFI INDIA: Holding discussions over options for its consumer-health business that could be worth $30 bln as new Chief Executive Officer Paul Hudson seeks to rejuvenate the French drugmaker.

* STATE BANK OF INDIA: Has invited bids from asset reconstruction companies, banks, non-banking finance companies, and financial institutions for sale of 214 non-performing accounts worth 675.2 mln rupees.

* SUN PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES: Got US FDA's approval for generic of Exjade tablet.
Subsidiary Taro Pharma got US FDA tentative OK for Tavaborole drug.
- Got US FDA's approval for generic of Lexiva tablet.

* TALWALKARS HEALTHCLUBS: The Bombay High Court has appointed a court receiver for the
company after the company defaulted in repaying its debt to Tata Capital Financial Services.

* TATA MOTORS: Jaguar Land Rover Chief Executive Officer Ralf Speth said he is open to more alliances to lower the costs of developing technology but is not looking for a full-blown corporate merger.

* TATA POWER CO: Has raised 15 bln rupees through three non-convertible debentures.

* TOURISM FINANCE CORP OF INDIA: Invoked a pledge on 1.4 mln shares or 30.42% stake in TULIP STAR HOTELS on Wednesday.

* VODAFONE IDEA: Telecom tower companies are exploring changes to their master service and rental agreements with the company and BHARTI AIRTEL to ease the financial pressure on the operators, especially after the Supreme Court ruling on dues based on adjusted gross revenue.

* ZEE ENTERTAINMENT ENTERPRISES: Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC and Societe Generale were the biggest buyers in Essel Group's 14.87% stake sale in the company in multiple block deals on the National Stock Exchange on Thursday.
