* AVIATION: Air India is set to raise around 5 bln rupees by developing 4.2 acres of vacant land near Delhi's Connaught Place.
* BANKING: Public-sector banks disbursed loans worth 2.53 trln rupees in their two outreach programmes in October, the finance ministry said.
* INFRASTRUCTURE: The Cabinet approval for National Highways Authority of India's Infrastructure Investment Trust is expected within next two weeks.
* REGULATORY: Securities and Exchange Board of India has said listed entities would need to disclose details of defaults on repayment of interest and principal amount on loans and unlisted debt securities.
* TAXATION: The West Bengal government has written to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman urging her to hold a GST Council meeting on the issue of falling revenue collections and rising frauds under the new tax regime, the state's Finance Minister Amit Mitra said.
* TELECOMMUNICATIONS: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India on Thursday asked all telecom service providers to submit a list of permanently disconnected mobile numbers on their network on a monthly basis starting November. The lists will then be published on the regulator's website every month.
- The Department of Telecommunications will ask the finance ministry to refer the pending issue of
refunding input tax credits of telecom companies worth 360 bln rupees to the GST Council.
