Pre-Session: Flat start likely for Sensex, Nifty today; RIL in focus

The Indian markets are expected to open flat on Wednesday, tracking mixed cues from the Asian indices.
Investors should also brace themselves for volatility today due to the scheduled expiry of monthly derivative contracts tomorrow. Besides, easing of tensions between India and China might provide investors some relief.
Reliance Industries' stock are expected to remain active after the company announced that KKR will invest Rs 5,500 crore for 1.28 per cent stake in Reliance Retail.
On Tuesday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 37734.08 down by -300.06 points or by -0.79 % and then NSE Nifty was at 11153.65 down by -96.9 points.
