💎 Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty ended lower after financials sector slipped in today's trade. However, broader markets continued to outperform the benchmarks and ended higher.
💎 At close, the Sensex ended 98 points lower to 38,756.63 while the Nifty50 ended at 11,440.05, down 24 points. The Nifty Smallcap100 and Nifty Midcap100 indices ended 5.5 percent and 2.5 percent higher, respectively.
💎 Nifty Realty and Nifty IT contributed most gains, surging over 4 percent each. Nifty Bank and Nifty Financial Services ended with losses, nearly 2 percent.
💎 Among Nifty50 top gainers, HCL Technologies, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and Infosys ended with most gains. Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance, BPCL, SBI and Power Grid remained the index top losers.
