Domestic bourses are expected to start the September Futures and Options (F&O) series on a positive note despite mixed global cues.
Stock specific action can be seen in GMR as it yesterday said it has decided to separately list its airport business. The company’s board passed a proposal that will see the holding company, GMR Infrastructure, demerge into airport and non-airport entities.
Hindustan Aeronautics' Rs 5,000-crore offer for sale yesterday saw oversubscription in the institutional investor segment with bids for 42.6 million shares as against 40.13 million on offer.
On the result front, a total of 81 companies, including Khadi India, and Archies, are scheduled to announce their June quarter results today.
On Thursday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 39113.47 up by 39.55 points or by 0.1 % and then NSE Nifty was at 11559.25 up by 9.65 points.
