Pre-Session: Sensex, Nifty set to open higher; Telcos in focus

Domestic bourses are expected to open higher on Monday following robust gains in Asian markets. Investors will eye global cues for the overall market trend while corporate results are likely to induce stock-specific reactions.
Telecom stocks will remain in focus as the Supreme Court will again hear the AGR case today. In last week's hearing, the Supreme Court had directed telecom companies under insolvency to submit details of spectrum sharing agreements that they have entered into.
On the result front, a total of 37 companies, including Can Fin Homes, Petronet LNG, and Suven Pharmaceuticals, are set to report their quarterly earnings today.
On Friday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 37877.34 down by -433.15 points or by -1.13 % and then NSE Nifty was at 11178.4 down by -122.05 points.
