Domestic bourses are expected to open on a flat note on Monday after global markets remained cautious as investors eyed US fiscal stimulus and US-China tensions. Investors will today track global cues for market direction while corporate earnings will induce stock-specific movements.
Telecom stocks will be in focus in today's session as the Supreme Court is expected to give its final verdict in the AGR case today. This will decide whether the telecom companies will be allowed a relaxed payment structure for clearing the dues they owe to the Union government.
On the result front, a total of 100 companies including Titan and Bank of Baroda are scheduled to announce their June quarter results today.
On Friday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 38040.57 up by 15.12 points or by 0.04 % and then NSE Nifty was at 11214.05 up by 13.9 points.
