Pre-Session: Sensex, Nifty likely to open lower on Monday

Domestic bourses are expected to open lower on Monday as the Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) were trading 50.5 points or 0.46 per cent lower at 10,880.50 levels.
Investors are expected to focus on June quarter earnings, stock-specific developments, global cues and updates related to Covid-19 will also remain on their radar. Today, as many as 40 companies are scheduled to report their results today. The list includes names such as ACC, Den Networks, and SBI Cards.
According to Worldometer, India on Sunday reported its highest single day spike of 38,902 cases and 543 deaths. The caseload rose to 1,113,400.
On Friday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 37020.14 up by 548.46 points or by 1.5 % and then NSE Nifty was at 10901.7 up by 161.75 points.
