Pre-Session: Flat-to-positive opening likely for Sensex, Nifty today

Domestic bourses are expected to start the day on flat to positive note on Wednesday, however the gains might be capped by weak global cues.
Besides the Covid-19 related newsflow and stock-specific developments, investors will today also track the Cabinet meeting in which a couple announcements under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan will reportedly be considered.
On the reult front, a total of 12 companies are slated to report their March quarter earnings today, while South Indian Bank is scheduled to report June quarter results.
On Tuesday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 36674.52 up by 187.24 points or by 0.51 % and then NSE Nifty was at 10799.65 up by 36 points.
