* AVIATION: Airbus Helicopters plans to offer Pawan Hans an advanced successor to Dauphin helicopters.

* BANKING: The Reserve Bank of India has harmonised the definition of affordable housing with
government criteria on such projects, for banks issuing long-term bonds for financing such projects and affordable housing loans.
-Non-bank payment aggregators will need the Reserve Bank of India's authorisation to offer such
services. Banks offer such services as part of their normal banking relationship.

* HEALTH: With cases of coronavirus disease, or COVID-19, in India rising, the government has decided to rope in around 50 private laboratories to test for the disease, government officials today said. So far, testing for the disease, which has been declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization, is limited to 72 government labs.

* RAILWAYS: Amid a rise in coronavirus cases in India, Central Railways has hiked prices of platform tickets at a few stations in Maharashtra to deter passengers from spending more time at stations.

* TRANSPORTATION: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said local trains and metro services were not being shut at the moment and asked people to avoid non-essential travel to contain the spread of coronavirus.

* STEEL: Japan's biggest steelmaker Nippon Steel Corp on Tuesday said its joint venture with
ArcelorMittal had signed a $5.15-bln loan agreement with Japanese banks, including Japan Bank for
International Cooperation.
