Results on April 26: Maruti Suzuki India, Bajaj Finance, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Indus Towers, SBI Life Insurance Company, L&T Technology Services, KPIT Technologies, Can Fin Homes, IIFL Finance, Oracle Financial Services Software, Poonawalla Fincorp, Shoppers Stop, Supreme Petrochem, Syngene International, Tanla Platforms, UTI Asset Management Company, and Voltas are scheduled to declare their quarterly earnings today.
Bajaj Auto: The two-and-three-wheeler company has recorded a 2.5 percent year-on-year decline in standalone profit at Rs 1,433 crore for quarter ended March FY23 despite healthy topline and operating performance, impacted by high base. Revenue for the quarter at Rs 8,905 crore grew by 11.66% over a year-ago period despite 12.5% fall in sales volumes. EBITDA jumped 25.7% YoY to Rs 1,717 crore with margin expansion of 220 bps YoY for the quarter. The company has announced a dividend of Rs 140 per share for FY23.
Tata Consumer Products: The FMCG company reported better-than-expected numbers on all counts in Q4FY23. Profit during the quarter grew by 21% YoY to Rs 289.6 crore, while revenue from operations increased by 14% to Rs 3,618.7 crore compared to year-ago period, mainly driven by underlying growth of 15% in India business, 6% in international business, and 9% in non-branded business. EBITDA for the quarter at Rs 511.7 crore grew by 15.2% over a year-ago period, with margin expansion of 10 bps to 14.1%. The company announced a final dividend of Rs 8.45 per share.
Mahindra Lifespace Developers: The real estate developer has recorded profit at Rs 0.54 crore for quarter ended March FY23, down sharply compared to Rs 137.7 crore in same period last year due to high base. The company reported an exceptional gains of Rs 96.8 crore in Q4FY22. Revenue from operations at Rs 255.4 crore for the quarter increased by 57.8% over a year-ago period.
Cipla: Madison Pharmaceuticals Inc, wholly owned step-down subsidiary of Cipla, in Delaware, USA, will be dissolved with effect from April 28, 2023. Madison is a dormant entity, and this dissolution will not affect the performance or revenue of the company.
Dalmia Bharat: The company has reported a massive 121.4% year-on-year growth in Q4FY23 consolidated profit at Rs 589 crore despite lower margin, boosted by profit from joint ventures of Rs 529 crore in Q4FY23 against nil in same period last year. Revenue from operations increased by 15.7% YoY to Rs 3,912 crore, while EBTIDA rose 3.5% YoY to Rs 707 crore but margin dropped 213 bps YoY to 18.07% for the quarter. The company has announced final dividend of Rs 5 per share for FY23.
UCO Bank: The bank said the meeting of the Board of Directors is scheduled on May 2 to consider raising of equity capital during FY24 through various modes such as follow-on public offer (FPO), qualified institutional placement (QIP), preferential issue etc. Bank will also announce financial results for the quarter ended March 2023, and announce dividend, if any, for FY23.
AU Small Finance Bank: The small finance bank has recorded a 23% year-on-year growth in profit at Rs 425 crore for quarter ended March FY23, with provisions and contingences falling 56% YoY. Net interest income grew by 29.5% YoY to Rs 1,213 crore for the quarter. Asset quality improved for Q4FY23 with gross non-performing assets (NPA) as a percentage of gross advances falling 15 bps QoQ to 1.66% and net NPA declining 9 bps QoQ to 0.42%.
Mahindra CIE Automotive: The auto ancillary company has recorded a 73% year-on-year growth in profit at Rs 279.1 crore for March FY23 quarter, partly driven by strong operating performance and topline. Revenue from operations in Q1CY23 at Rs 2,440.2 crore grew by 18.4% over a year-ago period. EBITDA for the quarter increased by 36% YoY to Rs 380.6 crore with margin expansion of 200 bps.
VST Industries: The cigarettes manufacturer has posted a 21.2% year-on-year decline in Q4FY23 profit at Rs 68.7 crore, impacted by lower topline and weak operating performance. Revenue for the quarter declined by 2.8% YoY to Rs 389.1 crore. The company announced a final dividend of Rs 150 per share.
Nippon Life India Asset Management: The company has reported 13.25% year-on-year growth in consolidated profit at Rs 198.02 crore for quarter ended March FY23 driven by lower tax cost. Revenue from operations grew by 3% YoY to Rs 348.34 crore for the quarter. Board has announced a dividend of Rs 7.5 per share for FY23.
Rallis India: The Tata Group company has posted loss of Rs 69.1 crore for quarter ended March FY23, widening from Rs 14.1 crore in same period last year. Revenue from operations increased by 3% YoY to Rs 522.6 crore in Q4FY23. The company has announced a dividend of Rs 2.5 per share.
Anant Raj: The real estate company has recorded consolidated profit at Rs 49.4 crore for quarter ended March FY23, growing strongly by 118% YoY due to strong topline, and operating performance. Revenue grows 30% YoY to Rs 280 crore for the quarter.

Stove Kraft: Emerging Business Fund has bought 3.03 lakh shares or 0.91% stake in the cooking appliances manufacturer via open market transactions at an average price of Rs 373 per share.
CMS Info Systems: Foreign portfolio investor WF Asian Reconnaissance Fund has offloaded 14.84 lakh equity shares in the company via open market transactions at an average price of Rs 280.02 per share, and 14.82 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 280.01 per share, amounting to Rs 83 crore. Total stake sale was 1.92% against 5.73% stake held as of March 2023. However, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund bought additional 7.81 lakh shares in CMS at an average price of Rs 280 per share.

Infosys: The country's second largest IT services exporter has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with energy and chemicals company Aramco, to collaborate on accelerating their human resource (HR) technology. Infosys aims to leverage AI to further bolster Aramco’s employee learning and development experiences and reduce skill gaps.
Results on April 25: Bajaj Auto, HDFC Asset Management Company, Nestle India, Tata Consumer Products, Anant Raj, AU Small Finance Bank, Dalmia Bharat, Elecon Engineering, Lloyds Metals and Energy, Mahindra CIE Automotive, Mahindra Lifespace Developers, Meghmani Finechem, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India, Nippon Life India Asset Management, Rallis India, Tata Steel Long Products, and VST Industries will announce its quarterly earnings on April 25.
HDFC Bank: Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has given its approval for acquisition of shares in Griha Pte. by HDFC Bank due to proposed amalgamation. As a result, HDFC Bank will acquire 20% or more stake in Griha Pte. The proposed amalgamation is subject to receipt of final approvals from Sebi in respect of change in control of certain subsidiaries of HDFC.
IndusInd Bank: The private sector lender said the Board of Directors has decided to seek approval of shareholders for re-appointment of Sumant Kathpalia as a Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD and CEO) of the bank for two years with effect from March 24.
Ipca Laboratories: The pharmaceutical company is going to acquire 33.38% stake in Unichem Laboratories, from one of its promoter shareholder at a price of Rs 440 per equity share, amounting to Rs 1,034.06 crore. This proposed acquisition is subject to approval of the Competition Commission of India.
Mahindra Logistics: The Mahindra Group company has recorded consolidated profit at Rs 0.20 crore for Q4FY23, down 97% compared to Rs 6.28 crore in same period last year despite strong topline and operating performance, partly impacted by higher finance cost and lower other income. Revenue from operations grew by 17% YoY to Rs 1,272.5 crore, while EBITDA jumped 24% to Rs 63.72 crore with margin expansion of 30 bps at 5% for March FY23 quarter. The company announced a dividend Rs 2.50 per share.
Mahindra Lifespace Developers: Mahindra Group-owned real estate and infrastructure development subsidiary has bagged another society redevelopment project in Mumbai. The project will offer Mahindra Lifespaces a revenue potential of around Rs 850 crore.
Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals: As a part of realignment of executive leadership, the company has appointed and elevated Shantanu Khosla as the Executive Vice Chairman for one year from May 1, 2023 and thereafter he will be Non-Executive Vice Chairman till December 31, 2025. Mathew Job has resigned as CEO and Executive Director of the company to pursue other career interests. The board has appointed Promeet Ghosh as the company's new Managing Director & CEO effective May 1, 2023.
L&T Technology Services: Life Insurance Corporation of India has acquired additional 21,367 equity shares or 0.02% stake in the company via open market transactions. With this, LIC's shareholding in the L&T Technology increased to 5.008%, from 4.988% earlier.
The New India Assurance Company: The Ministry of Finance has appointed Smita Srivastava as General Manager & Director of the company, with effect from April 17. Smita served as the MD & CEO of Health Insurance TPA of India.
Jubilant Ingrevia: The company has issued commercial papers of Rs 50 crore. The tenure of commercial papers is 66 days with maturity on June 29, 2023.
Choice International: The financial services provider has announced its plans to expand operations in North India by launching 10 new locations in first half of FY24.
IIFL Securities: The company has recorded 9.4% year-on-year growth in consolidated profit at Rs 86.3 crore for quarter ended March FY23. Revenue from operations for the quarter at Rs 402 crore grew by 15.9 percent over a year-ago period. The board has announced an interim dividend of Rs 3 per share for FY23, and approved issuances of NCDs worth Rs 500 crore in one or more tranches through private placement.
Century Textiles and Industries: The Aditya Birla Group company has recorded 68.8% year-on-year growth in consolidated profit at Rs 145.27 crore for quarter ended March FY23, led by exceptional income of Rs 134 crore on reassignment of leasehold land in Gujarat. Revenue during the quarter at Rs 1,208.5 crore fell by 0.2%, while EBITDA declined 3.2% to Rs 121.33 crore with margin falling 35 bps to 10% compared to same period last year. The board has announced dividend of Rs 5 per share for FY23.
Welspun India: The textile company said its board will meet on April 27 to consider the buyback of equity shares of the company and dividend for FY23. The company will also announce financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2023 on the same day.
Nelco: The Tata Group company has reported 86.8% year-on-year growth in consolidated profit at Rs 5.66 crore for quarter ended March FY23, backed by strong operating performance. Revenue from operations grew by 14.35% YoY to Rs 81.98 crore for the quarter, while EBITDA increased by 34.1% to Rs 16.82 crore with margin expansion of 302 bps to 20.51% compared to same period last year.

Results on April 24: IndusInd Bank will be in focus as the lender will declare its financials for the quarter ended March FY23 quarter. Century Textiles & Industries, Bank of Maharashtra, Persistent Systems, Mahindra Logistics, IIFL Securities, NELCO, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank, Trident Texofab, and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) will also release their quarterly earnings scorecards today.
Reliance Industries: The country's largest company by market capitalisation, recorded a 19.1% year-on-year growth in consolidated profit at Rs 19,299 crore for Q4FY23, with EBITDA growing 21.8% on-year to Rs 41,389 crore and gross revenue rising 2.8% YoY to Rs 2.39 lakh crore with continuing growth momentum in consumer businesses. Subsidiary Reliance Jio's standalone profit grew by 13% year-on-year to Rs 4,716 crore on healthy topline as well as operating income. Jio revenue increased by 11.92% YoY to Rs 23,394 crore, while EBITDA in Q4 jumped 16.2% to Rs 12,210 crore with margin expansion of 191 bps at 52.19% compared to year-ago period.
ICICI Bank: The country's second largest private sector lender clocked a massive 30% on-year growth in standalone profit at Rs 9,122 crore for January-March quarter FY23, despite 51.5% increase in provisions and contingencies, driven by net interest income and operating profit. Net interest income for the quarter at Rs 17,667 crore surged by 40.2% year-on-year, with net interest margin expansion of 90 bps YoY and 25 bps QoQ at 4.90%. Asset quality improved further with gross non-performing assets falling 26 bps sequentially to 2.81% and net NPAs declining 7 bps QoQ to 0.48% for Q4FY23.
Yes Bank: The private sector lender said its standalone profit in January-March 2023 fell by 45% YoY to Rs 202 crore dented by 128% increase in provisions and contingencies. However, net interest income grew by 15.7% to Rs 2,105 crore with net interest margin expansion of 30 bps at 2.8% for the quarter. Advances at Rs 2.03 lakh crore increased by 12.3% and deposits at Rs 2.17 lakh crore rose by 10.3% over a year-ago period. On the asset quality front, gross NPAs grew 20 bps sequentially to 2.2%, but net NPA dropped 20 bps to 0.8% in Q4FY23.
Tejas Networks: The telecom and networking products maker has narrowed its consolidated loss for March FY23 quarter to Rs 11.5 crore, from loss of Rs 49.6 crore in same period last year as consolidated revenue surged by 13.6% YoY to Rs 299.3 crore and EBITDA loss dropped to Rs 8.19 crore from Rs 88.11 crore in the same period.
Maruti Suzuki India: The company has announced to recall 7,213 Baleno RS vehicles manufactured between October 27, 2016 and November 1, 2019. It is suspected that there is a possible defect in vacuum pump, which assists the brake function.
HDFC Asset Management Company: HDFC AMC has received final approval from the SEBI for change in control of the company due to change in co-sponsor of HDFC Mutual Fund from HDFC to HDFC Bank, after the merger of HDFC and HDFC Bank. The respective approvals from SEBI in terms of the AIF regulations and the PMS regulations are awaited.
Welspun Enterprises: The company said the board of directors has given its approval for amalgamation of 4 subsidiaries with the company. Four subsidiaries are Welspun Infraconstruct, Welspun-Kaveri Infraprojects JV, Corbello Trading, and RGY Roads.
Gujarat Industries Power: The company said the board has approved the procurement of imported coal for 500 MW Surat Lignite Power Plant (SLPP). The approval by board has also given for deliberation of EPC contract for pooling sub-station -2 (PSS-2) of solar / wind / hybrid RE Park of 2375 MW capacity at Khavda, Great Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.
Union Bank of India: The public sector lender said the board of directors on April 26 will consider the capital raising plan. The fund raising will be either through qualified institutions placement and/or preferential allotment or issue of Basel III compliant additional Tier 1 bonds & Tier 2 bonds, subject to approval of the Government of India and other regulatory authorities.
IIFL Finance: Fairfax-backed non-banking finance company has fully repaid its $400 million maiden dollar bonds issue on maturity, i.e. April 2023. The company had raised $400 million through a medium-term note (MTN) program in February 2020.
Shree Cement: The cement major has completed the capacity up-gradation of its plant at Saraikela in Jharkhand and started the commercial operation on April 21. With this, the cement capacity of the said unit stands increased from 2.50 MTPA to 3.00 MTPA. The said capacity upgradation was achieved by process optimization, de-bottlenecking and productivity enhancement initiatives. The cement capacity of the company now stands increased to 46.90 million ton per annum (MTPA).
Ami Organics: The pharmaceutical intermediates and speciality chemicals manufacturer has entered into the semiconductor industry via acquisition of 55% partnership interest in Baba Fine Chemicals, a fine speciality chemicals company focused on custom synthesis and manufacturing of intermediates. The acquisition cost for 55% stake is Rs 68.2 crore.
Gujarat Natural Resources: Subsidiary GNRL Oil & Gas has completed the drilling campaign for its three wells (K11, K14 and K15) at Kanwara oil fields. At present, one of the well is tied back to the existing production set up and producing approximately 180 barrels per day of oil and 7,000 scmd gas. The other two wells are on initial production testing stage and efforts are being made to put them on production by end of April, 2023 after upgrading production facilities.
Kotak Mahindra Bank: Shareholders have approved an appointment of Uday Kotak as a Non-executive, Non-independent Director of the private sector lender, reports CNBC-TV18. 99% of shareholders voted in favour of resolution to appoint Kotak as a Non-Executive Director. Uday Kotak’s current term as MD and CEO of Kotak Mahindra Bank is set to end in December 2023.
