USD/JPY. Pair after opening at 113.00 and made high of 113.14 and saw some sidewise session after a bearish candle after a continuing with the upward trend for past many days 114 is a key resistance and pair is likely to be respect 110 as it has taken out 109 comfortably. Expect some resistance near the 114.00 and likely to be volatile but can BUY the pair for the day.

Fundamental Overview

Yen is trading at 114.20, depreciating sharply against the US dollar in yesterday’s trade. Announcement of a production cut increased the inflation expectations for the US economy, driving the yields and the US dollar higher. Yen is likely to test the 115.00 mark if the non-farm data remains supportive on Friday.

GBP/USD. Pair after opening at 1.2412 made a high of 1.2532, and seen pull back after a selling pressure from the higher levels , but it respected 1.2350 mark and saw some bounce few days back from this levels but 1.25-1.26 has been strong resistance in the pair 1.26 is has been strong resistance in the pair until the pair close above 1.26 the pair likely to find resistance in the pair but 1.25 is acting as a support so sell every rise in the pair.

Fundamental Overview

USDINR, the pair after opening at 68.84 and made a high of 68.84 and saw side wise to selling session after some trend reversal from 69.00 levels , the pair has seen sharp selling yesterday but strong supports of 68.35 has been respected and will see some gap up opening in the pair if sustain above that opportunity to buy.

Fundamental Overview

US dollar index is trading at 101.52, appreciating against all the majors after positive economic data was reported yesterday. Production cut in crude added to the inflation expectations for the US economy and this has helped the dollar surge higher. FED beige book released yesterday has also supported the case of a stronger US dollar. Manufacturing PMI is due to be reported today and the non-farm payrolls tomorrow. We expect the dollar to remain bid in today’s session.

USD/JPY. Pair after opening at 113.00 and made high of 113.14 and saw a bearish candle after a continuing with the upward trend for past many days 114 is a key resistance and pair is likely to be respect 110 as it has taken out 109 comfortably. Expect some resistance near the 114.00 and likely to be volatile but can sell the pair at rise intraday

Fundamental Overview

Yen is trading at 112.72, after another attempt to appreciate against the US dollar. With the US dollar losing some steam and the bond yields cooling off in yesterday’s session, we have investors take profit in the long dollar positions. Household spending and retail sales data was reported better than expected this morning and gave a boost to the Yen. Expect high levels of volatility going into the OPEC meeting and the non-farm data.

GBP/USD. Pair after opening at 1.2412 made a high of 1.2532, and seen pull back after a selling pressure from the higher levels , but it respected 1.2350 mark and saw some bounce few days back from this levels but 1.25-1.26 has been strong resistance in the pair 1.26 is has been strong resistance in the pair until the pair close above 1.26 the pair likely to find resistance in the pair but 1.25 is acting as a support so sell every rise in the pair

Fundamental Overview

Pound is trading at 1.2470, after a brief stint above the 1.25 mark. Better than expected mortgage and lending data helped the British pound push higher. This sharp rise could also be explained by the dollar retreat as well. There is no data to be reported from the UK today but the eurgbp flows and US dollar strength would be the key drivers for the British currency.

USDINR, the pair after opening at 68.94 and made a high of 68.94 and saw side wise session after some trend reversal from 69.00 levels , the pair has seen sharp selling a day before near to the previous high of 68.85 with the possibility that the central bank would have sold dollars to ease volatility. Expect the 68.95 will be a short term resistance and strong support comes at 68.70.

Fundamental Overview

US dollar index is trading at 101.12, almost at the same level as the previous day. US dollar failed to latch on to the gains that were seen after a positive print of the third quarter GDP, which was reported at 3.2% against an expectation of 3.0%. ADP non-farm payrolls and Pending home sales data would be in focus but the key driver would be the OPEC meeting outcome. We expect some more consolidation in US dollar before another leg up.

The Indian rupee opened marginally lower at 68.67 on Wednesday per dollar versus 68.65 Tuesday. Lakshmi Vilas Bank said, "The expectation is that the market will take cues from the equity market as well as the dollar index movement. Hence, it is expected that the USD-INR will trade in the range of 68.50-68.80/dollar." The dollar fell on Tuesday as the greenback consolidated its position against most major currencies following a roller-coaster 24 hours which traders say may just be a precursor to three weeks of risk-packed events including the Federal Reserve's December policy meeting.
